Job Description:
Department: Office of the Bursar
Days & Hours:Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $51,166 (Salary Group 92/0)
Effective:Immediately
Must demonstrate a capability to use discretion in working with confidential information and experience working independently, exercising professional judgment and taking initiative is critical. Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential. Experience working in a customer or student service environment such as in a college business office or other financial services environment with a high volume of customer interaction. Emphasis on day-to-day supervision of the operations of a mid-size office with professional customer service and student interaction.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field and 5 years experience in Business or College Administration environment or a combination of education and experience to demonstrate a working knowledge of the job functions.
Additional Information:
Experience in utilizing computerized/automated mainframe receivables and accounting systems (SunGard Banner Student AR and Accounting A/P Systems, Oracle Report Writing using SQR, BRIO) is a plus. Knowledge of FERPA Regulations, Identity Theft and general security of documents and other student information highly preferred. Must demonstrate proficiency using personal computer skills and the internet (Microsoft Access, Excel and MS Word, Outlook, file sharing and file transfers, HTM and other web applications).
