Job Description:
Schedule 92/0 ($51,166) - Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm; some evenings required. Schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.  
 
Student Life seeks a full-time Program Coordinator to provide support and assistance to the departmental faculty and club advisors in implementing activities for student clubs and organizations.  
 
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 1) Organize and handle logistics for department sponsored special events and programs. 2) Prepare and communicate club rules and regulations packets for all clubs and maintain accurate records for registered clubs and organizations.  
3) Serve as advisor to Programming Board.4) Coordinate and participate in the selection, implementation and evaluation of events planned by clubs and organizations. 5) Responsible for necessary procedures required to implement events planned, including but not limited to: maintenance of events calendar and vendor database, space reservations and requisitions, budget preparation and processing, publicity approval, collection of monies, and ticket distribution. 6) Work closely with department faculty, evening supervisor, and student leaders in planning events. 7) Work closely with security, food services, media, IT, buildings and grounds, and other personnel of the college for the event implementation. 8) Assist with ongoing programs including but not limited to New Student Success Week, graduation, banquets, and other special projects. 9) Conduct various programming workshops. 10) Represent the department at various college events. 11) Represent the department at NACA conferences (National Association of College Activities).

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred in student personnel administration or higher education administration plus three years of current and appropriate related experience in a high volume customer environment, preferably in college extracurricular activities/residential life. Must be able to multitask, problem solve, and be able to work with a diverse population.  
 
A working knowledge and understanding of student development theory, retention theory, and assessment techniques for measuring effectiveness of co-curricular programs involving a diverse student population. Demonstrated strength in budgetary/fiscal management.  
 
The successful applicant will possess strong written and verbal communications skills, excellent human relations skills and will be able to function in a fast paced office. Organizational, interpersonal and time management skills are a must.
